Cipriani 2.jpg

We recommend that you book your hotel room as soon as possible, if you have not already. Note that Venice is a very popular destination (20 million people visit every year), May is high season so hotels sell out and are very expensive when booked last minute. If you book in advance, you can get some good deals on hotel rooms.

Our reception on Saturday will be held at the Antique Granaries of Hotel Cipriani and we will all head from there to the after-party together by boat. Shuttles back to Giudecca and San Marco will be running on a schedule.

Please reach out to if you need help finding the best options. Should you book something on your own, please let us know via email, so we know where to find you. Here we have listed some of the hotels that we would recommend:

Belmond Hotel Cipriani

The 5-star Belmond Hotel Cipriani offers elegant interior design and plenty of outdoor areas where you are invited to relax and enjoy the view. Set on Giudecca Island, Belmond Hotel Cipriani offers stunning views of Venice Lagoon and the Doge's Palace. It features a large outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and wellness facilities. You are 4 minutes from Piazza San Marco by the hotel's shuttle boat service.

Bauer Palladio (Giudecca) & Bauer Palazzo (San Marco)

Facing San Marco's Basin, the 5-star Bauer Palladio hotel offers a large spa and an exclusive location in a 16th-century convent on Giudecca Island. A free shuttle connects Bauer Palladio to Bauer Palazzo which is located nearby San Marco, in Venice's historic centre. Bauer Palladio Hotel and Spa features spacious rooms with air conditioning and historic décor including tapestries, fabrics and paintings. Some rooms have lagoon or garden views. The Bauer Palladio has luxurious gardens where you can enjoy relaxing in sun loungers or dining outdoors at the Palladio Garden Bar and Restaurant. Generous buffet breakfasts are served indoors or outdoors. Bauer Palazzo is from the same hotel group and a Venice original located on the San Marco island, so only a short boat ride away. You can enjoy breakfast in "the Pisis restaurant" facing the Grand Canal or in the magnificent ballroom. The terraces are also available for tea time and drinks or simply relax during the free time.
